Mrs. Alma Lambert Cox, 85, of Fulton, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at her home. She was born on April 12, 1924, to William Edward and Alice Myrtle Keadle Lambert. She was a retired nurse having worked at the hospital, School of Hope, as Librarian in Fulton, Arkansas and worked in California during World War II and Korean War building B 52 Bombers for the McDonald-Douglas Aircraft Plant. Mrs. Cox was a member of the Hope Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; Her husband, Kenneth M. Cox, Sr., who died, March 7, 2010; a daughter, DeDe Cox; a brother, Edward Lambert; and four sisters, Lois Stone, Lora Bishop, Willie Kennedy and Betty Works. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: ONE SON: Kenneth Monroe Ken Cox, Jr. and Susan, Fulton, Arkansas. ONE DAUGHTER: Carolyn Lively, Fulton, Arkansas. SEVEN GRANDCHILDREN: Kenneth Monroe Cox III Trey and Lindsay, Fulton, AR. Amy Cox, Fulton, AR. Missy Townsend and Mike, Texarkana, AR. David Taylor, Fulton, AR. Phil Taylor and Jan, Bryant, AR. Andy Taylor, Fulton, AR. Tim Green and Tracy, Texarkana, TX. TEN GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Hunter McGilberry, Tara Lawrence, Logan Cox, John Lawrence, Paul Taylor, II, McKenzie Wainwright, Parker Taylor, Phillip Taylor, Jr., Jordan Green, Josh Green. and a number of other relatives and friends.
