Mrs. Alma Purtle Tarpley Bobo, age 95 of Longview, Texas passed away Wednesday February 1, 2023, in Longview, Texas.  Alma was born December 4, 1927 in Hempstead County Arkansas to Otis and Irene Skinner Purtle. She retired from Southwestern Bell/AT&T Telephone Company . She was a loving wife , mother ,and grandmother.

Alma was preceded in death by her mother and father, husbands; Clifton Tarpley, and Joe Frank Bobo. son , Randy Tarpley, four sisters; Mattie Lou Easterling, Alice Martin, Faye Neel, and Willie Erwin, two brothers; John Alvin Purtle, and Charles Wesley Purtle.

Alma is survived by her son; Dennis and wife Beth Tarpley, daughter in law Georgeann Tarpley Benson and husband Kyle , grandchildren; Adam, Lauren, Matt, and Ross Tarpley, great grandchildren; Audrey, Caleb, and Atticus, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Saturday February 4, 2023, at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest with

funeral service to follow at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Anderson Cemetery Spring Hill, Arkansas.
