Mrs. Alna Watkins, 95 of Prescott passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012 in Prescott. Mrs. Watkins was born, July 8, 1916 in Harrison, Arkansas to Ben N. and Pearl McCann Ritchey. She was married to O. W. Watkins for 37 years, who proceeded her in death. She was a member, for 60 years, of First Presbyterian Church in Prescott. She was a secretary for the Nevada County Home Extension service for a number of years. Besides her husband she was proceed in death by her parents and four sisters; Elsie Starr, Mary Lee Stephens, Juanita Ritchey, Helen Hegarty. She is survived by her son; John Ed Watkins of Hope, her daughter, Sally Horm and husband, Ron of Pace, Florida, her sister Elva Stephens of El Dorado, Arkansas and two grandchildren, Laura Horm and Julie Horm both of Pace, Florida. The Watkins Family will receive friends, 6:00 to 8:00pm, Monday, April 9 at Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott. Funeral service 11:00am, Tuesday, April 10 at Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott. Rev. Charlotte Cobb to officiate the service.
