Ms. Amanda Renee Sisk, 20 of Hope passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born in Houston, Texas on August 20, 1988 to Gary Donald and Tammy Odom Barr Sisk. She was an employee of the Rainbow of Challenges at the School of Hope, Hope, Ark. She was a non-denominational; a member of Special Olympics, wheelchair racer and javelin thrower. She was preceded in death by her father, by her paternal grandparents, Robert and Betty Sisk, and by her uncle, Steve Odom. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Her Mother: Tammie Odom Barr, Hope, Ark. Two Brothers: Nick Barr, Dallas, Texas. Derek Sisk, Dallas, Texas. One Sister: Lindsey Braden, Hope, Ark. Two Aunts: Aunt Donna Anstee, Hope, Ark. Aunt Kathy Voorhees, Uncle Ron Voorhees, and Cousin Sam Voorhees. Two Caregivers: Louis Collins and Family, Texarkana, Ark. Aunt Barbara, Texarkana, Ark. And other relatives and friends. FUNERAL SERVICE will be 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 11, 2009, Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel, Hope, Arkansas, with Rev.T.J. Connell and Mr. Trumane Moore officiating.
