Mrs. Angelia Kay Evans Mixon, 52 of Texarkana, Texas passed away, Thusday, April 28, 2011 in Houston, Texas. Angelia was born Tuesday, February 10, 1959 in Pecos, Texas to W. L. Evans and Trudy Mae Daughtery. Angelia was a Registered Nurse with Home Health and a member of the Church on The Rock in Texarkana, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, T. J. Davis. Angelia is survived by her husband, of thirty years, Ron Mixon of Texarkana, TX, her mother, Trudy Davis of Hope, two sons; Zain Askew and Matthew Mixon both of Texarkana, TX, two daughters; Rebecca Wooten and Jimmy of Longview, TX and Tamara Richert of Texarkana, TX, her sister, Tonya and James Wurman of Springs, TX, four grandchildren; Deanna Askew, Chasity Wynn, Corey Richert and Jane Richert. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2011 in Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Chapel. Bro. Charles Jones will officiate the service. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Hope by Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope.
