Mrs. Angeline Deone Burns Powers, passed away at the age of 59, Sunday, July 6, 2014, in Lubbock, Texas. She was born August 18, 1954, in Houston, Texas. She was a member of Brownfield, Texas Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and a wonderful Christian and friend. She loved working in her flower garden. She is preceded in death by her father, Delmore "Del" Burns. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Dan Powers of the home, her mother Adeline "Toni" Comeaux Burns of Hope, four sons, Andy Still and wife Lisa, Jeremy Still and wife Jennifer, and Eldon Still and wife LaDonna all of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Jonathan Powers of Brownfield, Texas, two brothers Mark Burns and wife Bonnie of Hope, and Dwayne Burns of Pine Bluff, sister, Adeline Wyatt of Texarkana, TX, three grandsons, and four granddaughters, her Christian family and other loved ones. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Central Cemetery Fund in care of Harold Freeman 195 Hempstead 141 Hope, AR 71801. Visitation for Mrs. Powers will be 6:00 to 8:00pm, Friday, July 11, 2014, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10:00am, Saturday July 12, 2014, at Central Church of Christ Cemetery in Hope. With Mr. Harold Freeman and Mr. Buddy Nall officiating.
