Mrs. Ann Booker, 68, of Emmet, Arkansas, went to her new home in heaven on Sunday, January 20, 2008 from her home. She was born on Feb. 25, 1939, in Arkadelphia, Ark. to Charles Wright and Cathryn Wilder Couch. She was a teacher for 46 + years at Emmet, Ark., being just 3 hours shy of her Masters degree in Education. She was a former Citizens National Bank/Bancorp South Employee of Hope; City of Emmet employee and Nevada County 9 1 1 employee. She was a member, church treasurer and pianist of the First Baptist Church of Emmet, Ark. She began playing the piano at age 6; a member of Delta Kappa Gamma; B & P.W of Prescott member and singer/soloist. She was preceded in death by her parents. She Joins Her Parents In Heaven And Leaves To Cherish: Her Husband: (of 46 ½ years) Dale Booker, Emmet, Ark. Two Daughters: Dana Burnett and Ron, Donaldson, Ark. Tonya Cox and Grant, Emmet, Ark. One Brother: Wayne Couch, Antoine, Ark. One Sister: Debbie Muse, Antoine, Ark. Nine Grandchildren: Chad Cox, Jody Cox, Cody Cox, Ty Moses, Laycon Moses, Dustin Burnett, Courtney Burnett, Brenna Thomas, and Alana Moses And numerous wonderful friends that loved her. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tues, January 22, 2008, Gene Ross Gymnasium Emmet, Ark., with Rev. Johnny Jackson and Rev. Frank Henson officiating. Burial to follow in Snell Cemetery, Emmet, Ark. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, Hope, Ark. Family Will Receive Friends: Mon., Jan. 21, 2008, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, Hope, Ark.
