Mrs. Anna Birdsong, age 81 of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away Saturday November 8, 2024, in Texarkana, Texas.

Anna was born January 3, 1943, to Sidney Parker and Forrest Elizabeth Carrington Davis. Anna was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Prescott and one of it's founding family members.

Anna was a devoted wife and mother. She worked at Fore's Department Store and Brazzel Cornish Funeral Home. She was well known and loved in Prescott. Anna loved to craft, read, travel, and research genealogy with her husband, Ed Birdsong.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Ed; her son, Raymond Edward; and her daughter, Melanie Gaye Petty.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Tina Ann Johnson (Dan) of Wake Village, Texas; her granddaughters Anna Johnson of Wake Village, Texas; Leah Johnson of Huntington, Texas; Katelyn Fomby (Jeff) of Huntington, Arkansas; her grandson Joshua Birdsong, along with five beloved great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday November 15, 2024 at 9:00 AM at Brazzel Cornish Funeral Home, with a graveside burial service to follow at 10:00 AM at DeAnn Cemetery.
