Mrs. Anna May Scott Langston, 82, of Prescott, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, January 9,2008, in Medical Park Hospital, Hope, Ark. She was born, the youngest of four children, on March 13, 1925, in Hope, Ark.,to Will and Lula May McGill Scott. She was a housewife and mother. At an early age she professed her love for Christ and united with Ward Chapel A.M.E. Church where she serves as Stewardship Board # 1, member of the Choir and team leaer for Class # 1. She was a faithful member until her failing health prevented her from actively participating. Her parents and two sisters preceded her in death. Her Survivors Include: Her Beloved Husband: (of 63 years) Elued Langston, Jr., Prescott, Ark. Two Sons: Herbert Langston, Prescott, Ark. Gerald Langston, Little Rock, Ark. Two Daughters: Constance Langston, Little Rock, Ark. Sandra Langston Neasley and Allen, Little Rock, Ark. One Sister: Martha Lee Hale, Hephzibah, Georgia. Four Grandchildren: Sean (Taniesha) Alicia,Adenika,and Tanisha Langston of Little Rock, Ark.; One Great-Grandson, Israel Davison, Little Rock, Ark. A host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Five Special Friends: Stella Vanhook, Oree Simmons, Perine Franklin, Allowese Langston and Ernestine Pondexter. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 14, 2008, at Ward Chapel A.M.E. Church, Prescott, Ark., with, Rev. Arthur Coulton officiating. Burial to follow in DeAnn Cemetery, Prescott, Ark. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home, Prescott, Arkansas. A WAKE will be held on Sun., Jan. 13, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel, Prescott.
