Mr. Anthony D. Bourdess, age 79, of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at Christus St Michael Hospital, Texarkana, TX.  He was born on June 8, 1941 to Anthony L. and Elizabeth Bourdess.  He was a retired security guard and former employee of Potlatch in Prescott, AR.  He was a member and deacon of Union Baptist Church for 36 years and was there every time the doors were open unless his health prevented him.  He was a Navy Veteran and served on the USS Cowell based out of San Diego, California. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lanora Buchanan Bourdess

His Survivors Include Four Sons: William Bourdess and Rebecca, Greer, South Carolina; Leslie Bourdess and Amy, Pickens, South Carolina; David Jeffery Bourdess and Becky, Evans, Georgia; and Johnny Bourdess, Prescott, AR.  One Sister: Brenda Price and Archie, Prescott, AR. One Brother: Howard Bourdess, Kansas City, KS. and 12 Grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 13 ^th , 2020, at Union Baptist Church. Graveside Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 13 ^th , 2020, at Harmony Cemetery, Sutton, Arkansas, with Rev. Joe Brown officiating the services.
