Arvel Lee Tullis, age 99, passed away on May 23, 2024, in Hope, Arkansas. He was born on July 1, 1924, to Izora and Elmer Tullis. He worked as a machinist at Cox Brothers Foundry in Hope until his retirement in 1989. He was a Christian and a member of Unity Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers Lonnie, Fred, Clyde, and Roy, two sisters Pearl Hosey and Jewel Pettit, and his loving wife of 70 years, Jewel Fay.

He is survived by his four children, Barbara (Hubert) Estes, Teresa Calhoun, David (Paula) Tullis, all of Hope, and Polly (Conrad) Browning, of Little Rock, eight grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, fourteen great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday May 28, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Brazzel Oakcrest Chapel. Funeral service will follow directly after at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
