Mrs. Audrey Jackson, 97 of Prescott passed away, Thursday, June 28, 2012 in Prescott. She was born November 23, 1914 in Emmet, Arkansas to George and Eva Peeler Conway. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 77 years of marriage, Dan Jackson, seven of her children; Barbara Sue, Evelyn Lavonne, Baby Mary, Helen Sue, Leroy, Brenda and Melvin Eugene, her brothers; Vernon and Buster and her six sisters; Alma Youngblood, Velma Henegan, Allie V. McLeroy, Retha Conway, Esther Allen and Lucy Mae Marshall. Mrs. Jackson gave her life to Christ at an early age and later united with Cothran Chapel C.M.E. Church in Prescott, where she served as a member of the Stewardess Board, the Busy Bee Circle, the Missionary Society and as President of the choir. She was a faithful member who loved her church family and was dedicated to serving the Lord. Mrs. Jackson is survived by three sons; Dan Jackson and wife, Virgie of Memphis, TN, Junior Lee Jackson of Chicago, IL; Burnett Jackson of Prescott; two daughters: Jo Marie Bragg of Arkadelphia and Linda Dixon and husband, Charles of Prescott, 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren and two grand-daughters that she raised: Ora Malasena Witherspoon and Andrea Trese Toliver-Smith along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00pm, on July 2, 2012 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Funeral service for Mrs. Audrey Jackson, 97 of Prescott, 11:00am, Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the Cothran Chapel C.M.E. Church in Prescott. Burial to follow in Snell Cemetery, Emmet, Arkansas.
