Barbara Jo Calhoon, age 84, of Hope, Arkansas passed away on May 5, 2026, surrounded by family.

Mrs. Calhoon was born on September 30, 1941, in Emmet, Arkansas to her parents Jim and Priscilla McSweeney Faulkner. She enjoyed being outdoors and working in her flower beds. She was also a member of the Hope Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond Calhoon; and three brothers, Donald Faulkner, Frank Faulkner, Gary Faulkner.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Jerry Calhoon (Gena), Mike Calhoon (Lexie); three grandchildren, Justin Calhoon (Kate), Mazie Calhoon, Mollie Kate Calhoon; one great grandchild, Lux Calhoon; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Bro. Daniel Bramlett officiating under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home.
