Sue Dailey peacefully went into the arms of the Lord on Thursday, October 19, 2023. She was born on February 17, 1947, to Wesley and Virgie Austin Jones. She was a member and pianist of Guernsey Baptist Church, where she had played for many years. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, son Jack Dailey Jr., brother Melvin Jones, and sister Mary Rhinheart.

Sue is survived by her husband, Melvin Kidd (Hope); Brother, J.W. Jones (Hot Springs); Sister, Joan Fortune (Denton, TX); Daughter-in-law, Jerrie Dailey (Alexander); Grandchildren: Mark, Tyler, Kiersten, Ethan, and Hailee; Great-grandchildren: Lane, Blakely, and Jaxon. As well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation service will be held Monday, October 23, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Brazzel Oakcrest Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Oakcrest Chapel with Bro. Gary Bolin officiating. The burial service will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery following the service.

Sue had a great compassion for animals, and they brought her comfort and great joy. Memorial donations can be made in her honor to your local animal shelter.
