Mrs. Barbara Dickerson, age 70, of Gurdon, Arkansas, passed away, Tuesday, August 26, 2014, in Baptist Hospital Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born February 27, 1944, in Gurdon, Arkansas to Paul D. and Maggie Sue Smith Currey. Mrs. Dickerson was a homemaker and a member of Red Springs Baptist Church in Gurdon. Mrs. Dickerson was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 44 years, Kenneth Dickerson, and brother, Glen Currey. Mrs. Dickerson is survived by her sons, Gary Dickerson and wife Linda of Gurdon and Paul Wayne Dickerson of Gurdon, daughters, Karla Branch and husband Calvin of Gurdon and Patricia Harrison and husband Farren of Gurdon, brothers, Everett, William and Jimmy Currey all of Gurdon and a sister, Peggy Hathcoat of Gurdon, 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Dickerson will be 1:00 to 3:00pm, Saturday, August 30, 2014, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Graveside service will be 4:00pm, Saturday, August 30, 2014, at Center Ridge Cemetery in Gurdon, Arkansas with Bro. Mike Black officiating.
