Obituary

Mrs. Barbara Polk Hogue, age 78 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Hogue was born September 22, 1937 in McNeil, Arkansas, to Troy and Elsie Rae Brasher Polk. Barbara was a retired customer service manager for Hope Water and Light and was an active member of First Baptist Church in Hope. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim Hogue and step-daughter Julie Robinson.

Survivors include; one son, Ron Cornelius of Bryant, Arkansas, one daughter, Kennetha McClelland and her husband Michael, of Jasper, Arkansas, two step-daughters, Janet Bonner and her husband James of Texarkana, Texas and Jerri McNatt of Fort Worth, Texas, one brother, Tommy Polk and his wife Carolyn of Little Rock, Arkansas and one son-in-law Mike Robinson, of Atlanta, Georgia, nine grandchildren, Michaela McMillan of Conway, Arkansas, Will and Thomas Cornelius of Bryant, Arkansas, Chase and Cabe Bonner of Denver, Colorado, Luke Moffitt of Nocona, Texas, Dustin Taylor of Natchitoches, Louisiana, Mark Robinson of Tallahassee, Florida and Christopher Robinson of Acworth, Georgia and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 1:00-2:00pm Monday, February 29, 2016 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope, Arkansas

Funeral Service is 2:00pm Monday, February 29, 2016 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel with Bro. Mark Fischer officiating. Burial to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope.
