Mrs. Barbara Smith Johnson, age 57 of Hope, Arkansas passed away Sunday, December 3, 2016 in Nashville, Arkansas. Barbara was born in Hope, Arkansas on March 16, 1959 to William Thomas and Norma Jean McCorkle Smith.  She was a home maker, a Baptist and her favorite time was spending with the love of grandchildren and friends. Barbara is preceded in death by her sister; Lisa Smith.

Barbara is survived by her parents, William Thomas Smith and Norma Jean Smith of Hope, a son; Michael Braddock, wife, Kristie of Hope, a daughter; Tabetha Rosenbaum, husband, Thomas of Hope, a brother; James T. "Bo" Smith of Hope and four grandchildren; Dustin Rosenbaum, Carson Braddock, Lily Rosenbaum and Hunter Braddock.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm, on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope, AR.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eric Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Huckabee Cemetery in Spring Hill.
