Barbara Alice Odom, 90, went to be with the Lord on October 20,2022 at her home in Hope, AR.  She was born December 7, 1931 in Delight, AR. She came to Hope in 1950.  There she met her husband and welcomed five children.  Barbara worked for Meyer's Bakery for 13 years.  She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.  Her hobbies included cooking, quilting, reading the Bible and traveling with relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents Olen and Ollie Nolen, a sister Maggie Buckley, her husband Donald Odom, an infant daughter, her only son Steve Odom and a grand-daughter Amanda Sisk.  Barbara is survived by her three daughters Kathy Voorhees (Ron), Donna Anstee and Tammie Barr, one sister Lucy Clepper (Lonnie) and a brother James Albert Nolen (Tiny).  Grandchildren include Nicholas Barr, Aubrey Odom, Arlie Owen, Derek Sisk, Samuel Voorhees and Lindsey Gonzalez.  She also leaves behind six wonderful great-grandchildren.

She's rememebered for her delicious from scratch cooking, her never ending support, her beautiful laugh, and will forever be Mother, Sally, Mamaw, Grandma, Bobbie and Aunt Bob to so many.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 26 from 6-8pm at Brazzel Funeral Home in Hope.  Private graveside service will be October 27 at 9 am at Bowen Cemetery in Delight, AR
