Mrs. Barbara Kay Powell, age 83, passed away on Sunday November 12, 2023, in Newhope, AR. She was born on August 8, 1940, to Hugh and Elsie McKissack. She is preceded by her father, mother, and son David Powell.

She is survived by her husband Hillery Powell of Newhope, AR, two sons Wayman Powell (Melissa) of Langley, AR, Kevin Powell (Angie) of Yellville, AR, sister Sue Rogers (John) of San Antonio, TX, nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
