Mr. Barrie Davis of Hope, Arkansas passed away at his home in Hope on Friday, November 24, 2017 at the age of 74. Barrie was born in Benton, Arkansas on August 27, 1943 to Clyde Howard and Elise Vicks Davis. He attended New Hope Baptist Church in Hope, he was a retired photographer with Davis Photography and a retired U.S. Army Major serving in the Vietnam War. Barrie was a member of the Whitfield Masonic Lodge #239, a veteran supervisor for Hempstead County and a member of the Patriot Guard. He is preceded in death by parents Clyde and Elise Davis.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Chris Connell of Nashville, AR, a brother Clyde Davis and wife, Sammie of Texarkana, AR, two grandchildren Isaac and Kara Lynn Connell and "special" friend Karen Massey, other family members and friends.

Visitation, 6:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope, AR.

Memorial service 2:00pm on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope with Bro. Neil Ridling officiating. Burial will be 1:00pm on Thursday, November 30, 2017 in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
