Mrs. Beatrice Otwell Dougan, 91, Prescott, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in the presence of her children Monday, July 14, 2008, at Hillcrest Care and Rehab, Prescott. She was born September 4, 1916, in Emmet, Ark., to Penny Parks Otwell and Etta Mae Sampson Otwell. She was a homemaker, member of the Prescott Church of Christ, mother of ten kids, I mean children, and mother to many, many more. She felt flowers were for the living and freely shared those she grew with those who would only ask. She called them Gods Garden because they belonged to Him and not her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oscar Lee Dougan; one son, Charles Lee Dougan; three brothers; five sisters, and two grandsons, John David Dougan and Donnie Joe D.J. Dougan, Jr. Her Survivors Include: Seven sons: Penny Dougan and Joy, Prescott. Archie Dougan and Marilyn, Traskwood. Richard Dougan and Carolyn , El Dorado. Johnnie Dougan and Pam, Prescott. Ronnie Dougan and Susan, Palm Bay, Florida. Donnie Dougan, Prescott. Tim Dougan and Jan, Prescott. Two Daughters: Susie Dougan, Prescott. Anita Foster and Paul, Sutton. One Daughter-In-Law: Peggy Orren Dougan, Prescott. One Sister: Edith Garner and Charles, Camden. Mamaw Bea had: Twenty-Four Grandchildren, Forty Great-Grandchildren and Seven Great-Great-Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews.
