Mrs. Beatrice Youngblood Graddy, age 78, of Hope, formally of Texarkana, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013, at St. Michaels Hospital in Texarkana. She was born on November 27, 1934, in Juniper, Georgia, to Hubert and Maymie Wiliford Youngblood. She was retired from Dolly Madison Bakery and was a member of Pleasant Oaks Baptist Church in Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Graddy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 57 years Robert F. Graddy, two brothers, Otis Youngblood and Julian Youngblood, and two sisters, Sally Johnson and Nettie Powell. Mrs. Graddy is survived by a daughter, Gail Nelson and husband Mike of Hope, two grandsons, Rob Nelson and wife Sarah of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and Chris Nelson and wife Melissa of Hope, three great-grandchildren, Carter Nelson of Hope , Colin Nelson of Hope and Emma Nelson of Bella Vista, Arkansas, a sister, Louise Johnson and husband Robert of Atlanta, Georgia, a brother, Jack Youngblood of Carolton, Georgia, numerous other family members and friends. Graveside service for Mrs. Graddy will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 26, at East Memorial Gardens in Texarkana, Arkansas, with Bro. Bobby White officiating.
