Obituary

Abram Bernard Nolen was born on April 16, 1976 to Juanita McKillion and John Nolen, Sr. Bernard accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Greater St. Paul Baptist Church in Emmet, Arkansas. He regularly attended Emmet and Prescott schools, graduating in 1994 from Emmet High School. Always wanting to be a truck driver, in 2006 he began training and career with US Express and later joining EOS Trucking, Inc. Bernard never met a stranger, but was always cautious until he got to know someone. He always had a story to tell about the people he had met while traveling across the country. But he never forgot about his hometown of Emmet. He would always ask about his hometown family and would visit as often as he could. Bernard loved to grill and was known by some as the "Grill Master". On Friday, March 13, 2015 Abram Bernard Nolen was pardoned from his labor. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Henry McKillion, Sr. and Mary McKillion and his paternal grandparents, Edgar and Christine Mitchell. Leaving to cherish his memory are his parents, Juanita McKillion-Henderson and John Nolen, Sr.; children Jaylen Love of Emmet, Arkansas, Jayden Nolen of Wisconsin, and Starr Nolen of Wisconsin; grandson Kayson Love; sisters Talesha Nolen of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Charmaine Hookfin of Jackson, Tennessee; brothers, Shontelle McKillion of Prescott, Arkansas, John Nolen, Jr. of Prescott, Arkansas, Terelle Hatley of Gurdon, Arkansas, Courtney Woods of Hope, Arkansas; a host of Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, and close friends, some he considered as brothers and sisters.
