Ms. Bertha A Chapa, 63 of Hope, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2020 at Wadley Regional Medical Center of Hope. Ms. Bertha was born October 07, 1957 to Martin and Bertha Benavides Martinez in Nueva Ciudad Guerrero, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Oscar Martinez and Jaime Martinez.

She is survived by her sons, Julian Chapa (Natalia), Corando Chapa, Jr.; daughter, Mayra C. Horton (Nathan); brothers, Marin E Martinez, Juan Jose Martinez; and sister, Maria Eva Aguire.

Visitation will be 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 24, 2020. Graveside services will follow, 2:00 P.M. at Rosehill Cemetery in Hope, Arkansas.
