Mrs. Betty Frances Easterling Ashmore, age 85 of Atlanta, Texas formerly of Hope, Arkansas passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at her home.  Betty was born in Hope, Arkansas on November 15, 1933 to William Homer and Ola Mae Smith Easterling. She was a housewife, and a former employee of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hope, where she enjoyed attending and worshipping her Lord and Savior.  Betty was a loving and devoted wife and mother, and enjoyed making a home for her family.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill Ashmore, and two brothers: Don Easterling and Ray Easterling and great-grandchild, Averie Fant.

Mrs. Ashmore is survived by a son; Norman Green of Atlanta, TX, a daughter; Kathy Green Fant of Linden, TX, two sisters; Janice Link of Hope and Pat Luzader of Prescott, AR, two grandsons: Kyle and Kevin Fant of Linden, TX and three great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Funeral service, 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Chaplain Ken Guthrie officiating.  Visitation one hour before the service.
