Mrs. Lynn Burke, age 83, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Wednesday August 1, 2018 in a Texarkana, Tx hospital. Mrs. Burke was born August 5, 1934 in Hope to Charles Houston and Vera Garrett Torbert. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church of Hope where she was also a member of Anna Maney Sunday school class. She enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting with friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henry Burke, a brother Ray Torbert, and a sister Lucille Torquist.

Mrs. Burke is survived by; two sons, Mark Burke wife Patty, Ken Burke wife Shirley all of Hope, a sister, Mary Arnold of Hope, four grandchildren: Cody Burke, Jason Burke, Summer Burke, and Stacy Sliger and six great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Saturday August 4, 2018 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home. 1001 South Main Hope, Arkansas.

Funeral service will be 3:00pm, Sunday August 5, 2018 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope. Arrangements are by BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie BRAZZEL, Director.
