Mrs. Betty Johnson Caruthers, 85 of Prescott passed away, Thursday, December 1, 2011 in Prescott, Arkansas. Mrs. Caruthers was born in Nashville, Arkansas on February 16, 1926 to Paul and Annie Clardy Johnson. Betty is a member of Antioch Baptist Church of Emmet, she is a housewife and the widow of Tillman Caruthers, who passed away in November of 2000. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, two sons; Tillman Caruthers, Jr. and Tony Leon Caruthers, two brothers-in-law, Charles Leon Caruthers and Thomas Campbell and sister-in-law, Louise Haynie. Betty is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Ann Campbell of Emmet, four grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.
