Mrs. Betty Jane Cox, age 81 of Patmos, Arkansas passed away Monday October 7, 2024, at her home. Betty was born on October 6. 1943 in Stockton, California, to her parents Cullen and Mellisia Crews.

Betty had a lot of interest, but she especially loved the Texas Rangers, LA Dodgers baseball and Enjoyed garage sales. She was of Baptist faith, and she never met a child she did not love, never met a stranger.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents Cullen Crews and Mellisia Smith Crews, one brother and five sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years Travis Cox, daughter Mellisia Rhodes (late Husband Speck) of Patmos,  son Mike Cox (Judy) of Taylor, AR, special brother in law Glendon Cox, Sister in law Norma Jean Waller, Grandchildren Justin Cox, Lisa Rhodes, Josh Rhodes (Lauren), Andy Emerson and Crystal Emerson, great grands Tommi Sue, Shelby Emerson, Sydney Emerson, Brady Simmons, Andyn Emerson, Gauge Emerson, fur baby Hermione, great great grand Katelynn Waller (Kate) & a host of nieces and nephews.

Betty wanted to thank some very special caregivers at Gentiva Hospice, Chelsee and Delta.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Huck's Military package or Patmos Cemetery/Park.

Pallbearers include Glenn Cox, Grant Cox, Josh Rhodes, Lisa Rhodes, Justin Cox and Jeff Otis.

Graveside services will be Saturday, October 12th at 12PM at Patmos Cemetery.
