Mrs. Betty L. Dickerson, age 77, of Prescott, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014, in Hillcrest Nursing Home and Rehab, in Prescott, Arkansas. She was born January 18, 1937, in Rosston, Arkansas to Walter L. and Margie Virginia Loe Alford. Mrs. Dickerson was a Christian and a homemaker, she dearly loved her family and friends. Mrs. Dickerson was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Herbert Dickerson, son, Jon Todd Dickerson, brothers, Deloye Alford and Odell Alford and sister, Venetha Westbrook. Mrs. Dickerson is survived by her brothers, Douglas Alford and wife Elizabeth of Laredo, Texas and Weldon Alford of Hope, sister Doretha Smith and husband Michael of Auburn, Alabama and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 12:00 to 2:00pm, Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home.
