Obituary

Mrs. Betty Ratliff Gibson, 77, Bodcaw, Arkansas passed away Saturday, February 5, 2011 in a Texarkana hospital. She was born February 26, 1933 in Ottawa, Kansas to Roy W. and Ina Howell Ratliff. Mrs. Gibson was a member of the Willisville United Methodist Church, a Methodist Lay Speaker, and a member of the Southwest Arkansas Model Railroad Club. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Norbert C. Ratliff. Her Survivors include: Her husband of 59 years, Wayne Keith Gibson, Bodcaw, Arkansas. One Son: Wayne Clay Gibson and Jana, Willisville, Arkansas. One Daughter: Wendy Bailey and Robert, Bodcaw, Arkansas. Two Sisters: Joann Sterrett and John, Santa Fe, New Mexico, Linda Ratliff, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Three Grandchildren: Keri Stone and Chris, Hope, Arkansas. Jennifer Kilgore and Stacey, Bodcaw, Arkansas. Misty Smith and Alan, Bodcaw, Arkansas. Seven Great-Grandchildren: Andrue, Kaylie, Tatum, Lane, Lexi, Duane, and Dylan. Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the Willisville United Methodist Church, Willisville, Arkansas with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland and Rev. Jerry Evans officiating. Internment will follow in the Union Cemetery, Bodcaw, Arkansas. Family will receive friends Monday, February 7, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, Hope, Arkansas. In Lieu of Flowers: Memorials may be made to The Leukemia Foundation or the Willisville United Methodist Church.
