Mrs. Betty McBride, age 84 of Prescott, Arkansas passed away, Friday, August 25, 2017 in Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. McBride was born in Prescott, Arkansas on February 11, 1933 to Mark and Olivia Honea Shelton.  She was a member of Morris Baptist Church in Caney and was a home maker.  She enjoyed quilting with neighbors and loved to prepare meals for her family and cooking for church dinners.  Mrs. McBride is preceded in death by her parents; Mark and Olivia Shelton, her husband of 50 years, Mr. Dale McBride, her brothers; Robert, George and Tommy Shelton.

Survivors include; two daughters; Kathy Barham, husband, Zane of Cale, and Joan Marcum of Prescott, a brother; Charles Shelton of Denver, CO, two sisters; Ruby Hicks of Mount Holly, AR., and Barbara Brown, husband, Herman of Prescott, three grandchildren; Chad Marcum, Justin Marcum and Niki Morris, six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service, 2:00pm on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Morris Missionary Baptist Church in Caney, AR with Bro. Jim Cross officiating. Burial will be in Caney Cemetery in Caney.
