Mrs. Betty Minton, age 88 of Gurdon , Arkansas passed away, Wednesday, November 23, 2016 in Hot Springs . Mrs. Minton was born in Whelen Springs , Arkansas on January 7, 1928 to Cecil and Martha Louise Neathery Stone. She was a home maker and a member of Beech Street Baptist Church for over 65 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Wyndal I. Minton, Sr.

Survivors include; her son; Wyndal Minton, Jr, wife, Sharon of Gurdon, her daughter; Julia Mulkey, husband, Wayne of Saraland, Alabama, two brothers; Boyce Stone, wife, Agnes of Gurdon and Royce Stone, wife, Sara of El Dorado, her sister; Arta Pearl Elia of Alvin, TX, five grandchildren: Mike Minton, Mark Minton, Ginger Walker, Amanda Mulkey and Haley Richardson and three great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Beech Street Baptist Church 1305 E. Main St. Gurdon, AR.
