Betty Jean Whiteside- Nix was born November 7, 1964, to Patricia Ann Paterson and Michael Eugune Whiteside. Betty passed away February 18, 2024, in Hot Springs, AR. She proceeded in death by her parents, brothers, Shawn Whiteside and Jeffery Whiteside, sister, Mary Kay Douglas, niece, Jennifer Adams, and nephew, Mark Whiteside.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Nix of Hot Springs, AR, son James "Jimmy" Estabrook Jr of Roanoke, IL, sisters Maureen Adams (Steve) of Marshall, TX, Phyllis Zink (Doug) of Sarasota, FL, and Stacy Webb (Jackie) of McCaskill, AR, nieces Raven Whiteside, Rachel Glass (Cole), and Holly Webb and nephew Joseph "Bubba" Adams (Hanna). There will be a family memorial at a later date.
