Mrs. Betty Jane Richardson, age 71, of El Dorado, Arkansas, formally of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at the South Arkansas Medical Center in El Dorado. Mrs. Richardson was born December 6, 1941, in Prescott, to Ben and Essie Sewell Page. Mrs. Richardson was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 47 years, Tommy Richardson. Mrs. Richardson is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane Davis of Pollock, Louisiana, sister, Julia Beardsley of El Dorado, Arkansas, grandchildren, John Balser Jr of Pollock, Louisiana, and Jennifer Balser of Pollock, Louisiana, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Richardson will be Saturday, October 12, 2013, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, at Brazzel/Cornish in Prescott. Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, October 12, 2013, at the Piney Grove Cemetery in Boughton, Arkansas.
