Mrs. Betty Sanders, age 50 of Hope, Arkansas formerly of Prescott, Arkansas passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Sanders was born in Prescott, Arkansas on April 12, 1967 to William Rufus and Marion Helen Cox Cooper. Betty was of the Baptist Faith and she worked for Nevada County as a Correctional Officer.  Betty loved to deer hunt, she spent a lot of her time working, but she always found time to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren. Betty is preceded in death by her father; William Rufus Cooper; a step-father; Delmar Nelson, two brothers; Raymond Cooper and Jerry Cooper, two sisters; Nellie Cooper and Ora Faye Griffin

Betty is survived by her; Mother; Marion Helen Nelson, a son; Jerry David Johnson, his wife, Debbie of Hope, a daughter; Laura Johnson of Hope, four brothers; Eugene Cooper, wife Kathy of DeAnn, George Cooper, wife, Tonya of Emmet, Jackie Cooper of Prescott, John Cooper of Statham, Georgia, and James Dickson of Prescott, two sisters; Helen Berry of Fouke, and Patsy Williams, husband, Joey of Prescott, three grandchildren; Jayda Johnson, Jaliyah Johnson and Jamiyan McMorris, numerous, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00pm on Monday, August 28, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope,

Funeral service is 2:00pm on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Bro. Neil Ridling and Bo. James Cox officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Prescott.
