Mrs. Betty Pruitt Sharp, 61, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2009, at Christus St. Michael Health System, Texarkana, Texas. She was born in Fayetteville, Tennessee on May 22, 1947, to Tillman Lee and Alice Marie Raybon Pruitt. She was an employee of Tysons and just celebrated 19 years of service. She was a Baptist and loved stock car racing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tillman Lee Pruitt and Alice Marie Raybon Pruitt Waters. Pallbearers are Steve Ward, Daniel Hampton, David Applegate, Larry Daugherty, Gary Daugherty, and Dale Dyer. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Her Loving Husband: (of 19 years) Charlie Shorty Sharp, Hope, Ark. Two Daughters: Barbara Gibson and Eric, Texarkana, Ark. Becky Green and Bill, Bruce, MS. Two Brothers: Lee Pruitt, Linden, Texas. Harold Waters and Lu, Magnolia, Ark. One Sisters: Sandy Sands and Donny, Waldo, Ark. One Grandson: Scott Green, Bruce, MS. and several nieces and nephews and friends. FUNERAL SERVICE will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 29, 2009, Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel, Hope, Arkansas, with Rev. Andy Hawkins and Minister Bill Green officiating.
