Mrs. Betty J. Bush Faris Walden, age 86 of Hope, Arkansas passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 in Hope. She was born November 14, 1934 to Charles H. and Tabatha E. Bush in Patmos, Arkansas. Mrs. Betty had retired from the Area Agency on Aging administration office and was the matriarch of 5 generations in her family. She loved cooking, bird watching, and working with her flowers. She is preceded in death by her parents; Two husbands, Ray Faris and Dillard Walden; Son, Don Faris; Daughter, Leah Faris; Six brothers, Lester Bush, Denton Bush, Eugene Bush, Kenneth Bush, Jimmy Bush and Roland Bush; Four sisters, Louise Poole, Iris Porterfield, Peggy Hampton, and Katherine Nichols; Grandson, Kevin Dowling and Great-granddaughter, Jordan Faris-Samuel.

Survivors include: Two daughters, Tina McCartney of Cabot, AR and Teresa Faris of Hope, AR; One brother, Jerry Bush of Hope, AR. Six grandchildren, Ten great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Disabled American Veterans.

A walk-through visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
