MRS. BETTY MCCARTY WHITE, 78, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2008, at Medical Park Hospital, Hope, Arkansas. She was born on November 1, 1929, in Earlsboro, Okla, to Leo and Ruth Barber. She was a homemaker and mother; former co-owner/operator of the former Buds Grocery of Hope, Ark.; former employee of Shanhouse; member of the First United Methodist Church of Hope and a member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, E.C. Bud White, who died in April, 2007; and by four brothers, George, Bill, Dick and Edward McCarty. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: TWO SONS: Larry C. White and Jackie, McKinney, Texas. Eddie White, Hope, Ark. Four Grandchildren: Stephanie Clouston and David, Dallas, Texas. Whitney White, Norman, Oklahoma. Robyn White, Cleveland, Ohio. Jeff White, U.S. Navy stationed in Saratoga Springs, New York. One Great-Grandchild: Larkin Leigh Clouston, Dallas, Texas.
