Mrs. Billie W. Simmons, 97, Hope, Arkansas. She went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 8, 2008, at Heather Manor Nursing Home, Hope, Ark. She was born in Denton, Texas on January 4, 1911, to Will and Myrtle Hawthorne White. She was a businesswoman. She was a member of Hope Community Church, Hope, Ark.; member of the Garden Club of Hope; Pilot Club of Tyler, TX; and Hempstead County Republican Womens Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Simmons and by thirteen brothers and sisters. Her Survivors Include: Two Daughters: Joyce Beall, Arlington, Tx. Barbara Cox and John M., Hope, Ark. One Sister: Georgia Grimes, Tioga, Tx. Four Grandchildren: Charles Ed Beall and LeAnn, Cedar Park, TX. John L. Beall and Jeanne, Plano, TX. Donna Reynolds and Mike, Arkadelphia, Ark.
