MR. BILLY JACK COFFEE, 79, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2008 at his home. He was born on December 6, 1928, in DeAnn, Ark. to Carl and Trula Duke Coffee. He was a retired 2nd Lieutenant with the Arkansas Highway Police Department having retired with 27 + years of service and a cattle farmer. He was a member and usher of the First United Methodist Church of Hope and member of the Century Bible Class. He was a 32nd degree Mason - member of Whitfield Masonic Lodge # 239 of Hope and member of Woodmen of the World. He was preceded in death by his parents; by one brother, Dee Coffee; and by three sisters, Muriel Bailiff, Jodi Perkins, and Melba Price. HIS SURVIVORS INCLUDE: HIS WIFE: (of almost 42 Years) Mary Almond Coffee, Hope, Ark. TWO DAUGHTERS: Kathryn Coffee-House, Wylie, Texas. Stephanie Hicks and David, Plano, Texas. FOUR SISTERS: Alice Benson, Roanoke, Texas. Colleen Coffee, Shreveport, LA. Nell Joiner, Shreveport, LA. Joy Stubblefield, Fort Worth, Texas. TWO BROTHER-IN-LAWS: Jim Vaughan and Judy, Hope, Ark. C.T. Almond and Doris, Lake Fork, Texas. THREE GRANDCHILDREN: Kelsey Arterbury, Morgan Hicks, McKenzie Hicks. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 29, 2008, First United Methodist Church, Hope, Ark., with Rev. Randy Perkins and Dr. Tandy Hanson officiating.
