Billy Don Steed 68, of Durant, Oklahoma passed away Thursday September 17, 2015 at Oak Ridge Nursing Center in Durant. He was born November 15, 1946 in Hope, Arkansas to Rastus and Hazel Wingfield Steed. Billy you could say was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed fishing, country music and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Pete, Delbert, Elvin, Joe and Alvis Steed. Sisters Bobbie Dennise, Merle McNeely, and Alline Cornilas. Surviving is Daughter Donna Gail Justice and husband Charles of Durant, Son Chris Steed and wife Sheri of Oklahoma City, Daughter Melody Fleischer of Sherman, TX. and Son Danny Joe Steed of Oklahoma City. Grandchildren Miranda Rhodes and husband Jeff of Caney, OK. Mariah Hicks and husband Lance of Durant, Amanda Dunivan of Muskogee, OK, John Dunivan of Durant, Cole and Dakotah Steed of Oklahoma City, Issac and Jade Steed of Durant, and Billie LeSha Steed of Oklahoma City. Nine Great Great-Grandchildren, Numerous Nieces, Nephews, other realtives and many friends also survive. A Graveside Service for Billy Don Steed will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon September 20, 2015 at the Caney Cemetery in Nevada County, Arkansas with Mike Steed officiating.
