Obituary

Mr. Bobby Neal Bob Henderson, age 72, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013, at his home in Hope. He was born on May 27, 1940, in Mineral Springs, Arkansas, to Delmar and Dessie Mae Taylor Henderson. He began his career as a teacher and coach and later was employed by Tex Ark and SMI Joist in Hope. Mr. Henderson was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Hope. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Della Buck. Mr. Henderson is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carolyn Henderson, two sons, Jerry Richard Henderson of Hope, Charles Wesley Henderson and wife Laura of Texarkana, Arkansas, a daughter, Sherry D. Howard and husband Chris of Hope, two brothers, Delmar Henderson, Jr. and wife Sharon of Nashville, Arkansas, Edward Henderson and wife Ruby of Mineral Springs, Arkansas, a sister Jeanine Coleman of Mishiwaka, Indiana, five grandchildren, Emily McBride, Justin and Jordon Henderson, Skylar and Katie Howard, one great-grandchild, Ethan Henderson, numerous other family members and a host of friends. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, May 3, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope. Funeral service for Mr. Henderson will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 4, at A Place of Meeting Church in Perrytown, Arkansas, Bro. Nathaniel Crane officiating.
