Bobby Glenn (Bob) Odom, 72 of Hope, passed away on Thursday, November 19 at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Mr. Odom was born July 16, 1937 in Patmos, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dwight Henry and Nora McCoy Odom and a infant son; Charles Jay Odom. As a self-employed retired building contractor he was the founder of Precision Bilt Homes and a US Army Veteran serving in the 82nd Airborne Division of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. Survivors include; two sons; Randy Odom and wife Sonya, Hope; Greg Odom and wife Betty Jo, Hope; Daughter; Lisa Lene Brown and husband, Dwayne, Texarkana, AR; Two brothers; Don Odom, Hope; Carliss Odom, Little Rock; Sister; Earlene Vines, Patmos; Mother of his children; Twyla Odom, Hope; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and his Faithful Companion; Buddy Boy /Mr. Bud. A Memorial Visitation is planned this Friday, November 27 between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel. A private family service, at a later date, will be conducted.
