Mr. Bobby L. Kidd, 74 of Spring Hill, Arkansas passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. Mr. Kidd was born Friday, October 30, 1936 in Hope to George and Ruthie Ross Kidd. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother; Terry Kidd. Mr. Kidd was a poultry and cattle farmer and was a member of Spring Hill United Methodist Church, where he served as Chairman of the Finance Committee. He was a member of Cattlemens Association, served on the Farm Bureau Board, a former Spring Hill School Board member, served on the Hempstead County Soil Conservation Board, and a member of National Rifle Association. Survivors include his wife, Doris Byrom Kidd of Spring Hill; three daughters, Debra Fisher and Bobby, Dianne Townsend and Scott, Vanessa Bobo and Chad, all of Spring Hill; two sisters, Billie Jean Yocom of Spring Hill and Charlotte Mulholland of Spring Hill; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The Kidd Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00pm, Saturday, August 20 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home, Hope.
