Mrs. Bonnie Gene Griffin Rhodes, 70, of Fulton, Arkansas (formerly of Spring Hill, Arkansas), passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2010, at Christus St. Michael Health System Texarkana, Texas. She was born October 19, 1939, in Heber Springs, Arkansas to Harold Edward and Julia Mae Carwilie Griffin. She was a homemaker, past employee of the former TG&Y of Hope, Kids-R-US Daycare, member of Anderson Baptist Church and attended the Providence Baptist Church of Spring Hill, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents. Her Survivors Include: Her Husband (of 53 years) Clay Rhodes, Fulton, Arkansas. Three Sons: Clay Speck Rhodes and Mellisia, Patmos, Arkansas; Jonathan Rhodes and Lisa, McNab, Arkansas; Michael Rhodes and Amy, McNab, Arkansas. One Daughter: Rebecca Rhodes, Spring Hill, Arkansas. Two Brothers: Eddie Griffin, Hope, Arkansas; Bobbie Griffin, St. Louis, Illinois. Five Sisters: Juanita Nash, Yellville, Arkansas; Wanda Schuster, Riverside, California; Mary Roper, Clarksville, Arkansas; Debbie Jordan, Atlanta, Georgia; Jeannette Denninger, Atlanta, Georgia. Fifteen Grandchildren, Nine Great-Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 5, 2010, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel, Hope, Arkansas with Rev. Glen Shults officiating. Burial to follow in Patmos Cemetery, Patmos, Arkansas.
