Mrs. Brenda June May, 65 of Mt. Pine, Ark., passed away peacefully in her sleep, Sunday, February 8, 2009. She was born in Hope, Arkansas on September 18, 1943 to Roy and Orene Martin May. Brenda June had bravely battled brain complications since 1986. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 49 years; Carroll Douglas May, Mt. Pine; Her son David May and wife Tracy and grandchildren; Skyler, Jackie and Gracie May, all of Little Rock, Ark.; Two brothers; Jackie Martin and wife, Tina, Hope, Ark.; Johnny Carroll Martin and wife Debbie, Hope, Ark.; Two sisters Jan Martin, Pittsburg, TX. and Belinda Jawana Jojo Cullen, Sulphur Springs, TX. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 11, 2009, at Evening Shade Cemetery, Spring Hill, AR. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, Hope, AR.
