Mrs. Brenda Spencer, age 63 of Hope , Arkansas passed away, Monday, November 7, 2016 . Brenda was born on June 14, 1953 in Grand Rapids , Michigan to Hugh and Lois Barnes Tharp.  She was a retired Registered Nurse and a Catholic. Brenda was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother to her family, and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite hobbies included working in her yard and antiques; she was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan to the highest degree. Brenda was a very "special" survivor of cancer beating it twice. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Lois Tharp, two brothers; Larry and Hugh Tharp, and her sister; Linda Nash.

Brenda is survived by her two sons; Jason and Aaron Wright both of Hope, her four grandchildren, and her beloved companion, "Rosie".
