Brent Carruthers, age 60 of Hope, Arkansas, shed his earthly wings and gained his heavenly wings on Thursday October 17, 2024. He was born June 13, 1964 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to Charles Leon Carruthers and June Chambless Carruthers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents.

Those left to cherish his memory are his aunts, Joan Chambless Stockton of Hope, and Ann Campbell of Emmet, along with 10 cousins.

Brent enjoyed watching TV, listening to music in general, and thoroughly enjoyed going on joy rides in the car. He had such a sweet spirit, and content in life. Brent was active in the Rainbow of Challenges, working each day. A special memory with Brent is that he would never tell you goodbye, just "See you later with a smile"

Visitation will be Sunday October 20, 2024 at 1PM at Brazzel Oakcrest Funeral Home with a service following at 2PM in the chapel.

We would like to extend a special thanks to two very special caregivers, Anita Perkins and Shelia Shears with Rainbow of Challenges as well as all of the other staff who were a part of his care.
