Mr. Raymond "Buddy" Calhoon, age 93 of DeAnn, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in Texarkana. He was born November 21, 1928 to Eurie and Elizabeth Cusick Calhoon, in Hope. He was an US Army veteran and was retired from the Arkansas State Highway Department. He enjoyed spending time with family, fishing and hunting fox and deer. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Archie Calhoon; and one sister, Glyndell Harris.

Those left to cherish his memory are: his loving wife of 61 years, Barbara Calhoon of DeAnn; two sons, Jerry Calhoon (Gena) and Mike Calhoon (Lexie) all of Spring Hill, AR; one brother, Bobby Calhoon (Judy) of DeAnn, AR; two sisters, Kathie Powell (Roy) of Spring Hill, AR, Teletha Ward of Dallas, TX; three grandchildren, Justin Calhoon, Mollie Calhoon, Mazie Calhoon; a host of relatives and friends.

No public visitation is planned.
