Mrs. Callie Mae Glenn was born in Hempstead County, Arkansas, November 29, 1937 to Elijah Glenn Sr. and Lydia Glenn who preceded her in death. Callie joined Antioch at an early age. She left and moved away, returning back to Arkansas, she rededicated her life to Antioch. She attended the Blevins Training School in Blevins, Arkansas. She held a variety of jobs including Dale Ward's Dairy Farm, agricultural work and Firestone. She loved to go fishing and the outdoors. She departed her life on Friday, February 7, 2014 at St. Michael's Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. She is preceded in death by one sister; Jessie Mae Glenn and two brothers; John Glenn and Robert Glenn. She leaves the cherish her loving memory two sisters; Sherley (Herbert) Ogden and Mae Sue Williamson, Hope, two brothers; Elijah (Daisy) Glenn, Hope and Walter C. Glenn, Prescott, three children; Carolyn McFadden, Hope, Jerrie Levette McFadden-Newsome, Toledo, Ohio and Alvin (Yolanda) Hardimon, Las Vegas, Nevada; five grandchildren; Eleshia Armstrong, Hope, Matthew McFadden, Oklahoma City, Patricia Hardimon, New York, NY, Alvin Hardimon, Jr., Honolulu, HI and Kamelah Newsome, Toledo, OH and three great-grandchildren; Elisa McFadden, Hope, Duran McFadden, Oklahoma City, and Antonio "TJ" Hardimon, New York, NY and other family member and friends. Visitation, 9:00am to 5:00pm on Tuesday, February 11 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. Funeral service; 11:00am, February 12, 2014 at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in the DeAnn Community. Burial to follow in the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
